In these uses, annatto is a natural alternative to synthetic food coloring compounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Colour Imparted<\/strong>:-<br \/>\nIt gives a bright saffron colour.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ayurvedic\/Medicinal\/Healing Properties<\/strong> :-<br \/>\nAnnatto seeds are used treat diabetes, diarrhea, fevers, fluid retention, heartburn, malaria, and hepatitis. It is also used as an antioxidant and bowel cleanser.
