Handloom Khadi Fabric

Natural Dyed Khadi represents the pinnacle of sustainable textiles. It is a strictly zero-carbon fabric: the yarn is hand-spun rather than mill-spun, the dyeing is done naturally by hand, and the final cloth is hand-woven without the use of electricity or heavy machinery.

This labor-intensive process generates vital employment for our skilled artisans—a community facing severe challenges due to the rise of industrial, machine-made fabrics. We work directly with these artisans in their villages to produce this exceptional material.

Khadi offers a unique, rugged texture that is versatile by nature; it provides warmth during winter while remaining breathable and fresh in the summer. Steeped in history, Khadi was born during the Swadeshi Movement as a symbol of self-reliance championed by Mahatma Gandhi, who believed this fabric would uplift the daily lives of the people.

Purchasing even one meter of Khadi is a meaningful step toward preserving Indian culture, keeping traditional skills alive, and sustaining the livelihoods of our master weavers.
